# Agent Manifest Protocol (AMP) — full agent guide

> CC0 spec + public registry + validator. Publishers host `/.well-known/agent-manifest.json` at each API origin. This file expands `/llms.txt` with discovery URLs and workflows.

## Registry workflow

1. `GET https://api.agent-manifest.com/listings` — browse APIs (filters: category, pricing, auth)
2. `GET https://api.agent-manifest.com/agents` — registry-specific agent guide
3. For each API origin, `GET https://<origin>/.well-known/agent-manifest.json`
4. `POST https://validator.agent-manifest.com/validate` with `{"url":"https://<origin>"}` before trusting integration

## Publish an API

1. Host a valid manifest at `/.well-known/agent-manifest.json`
2. Validate via validator or `amp validate <url>`
3. `POST https://api.agent-manifest.com/listings/submit` with `{"url":"https://<origin>"}` or `amp publish`

CLI: `npm i -g @agentmanifest/cli@0.3.1` → `amp init`, `amp validate`, `amp publish`
